Ever wondered what happens to the digital data created during your school day? Here’s your chance to voice your thoughts and influence change.

You’re invited to participate in an exciting research project exploring student opinions on digital data privacy in schools. Come talk about your thoughts and experiences about how you use technology at school & help shape the future of how digital data gets used in education!

This project is being led by a postgraduate student at the Edinburgh Futures Institute, in partnership with Data for Children Collaborative. We’re looking for 16-18 year-old students from anywhere in Scotland to participate.

What to expect

  • A 40-50 minute virtual interview via Microsoft Teams
  • Share your experiences and opinions
  • Contribute with creative expressions (e.g. drawing, writing, photos – whatever you like!)
  • Participate in a 1-on-1 or small group setting

Ready to make your voice heard?
You can sign up for an interview time slot any day from 24 June to 8 July 2024. Once you’ve signed up, Kyra will send along more information about the project and a consent form.

Feel free to contact k.l.m.fong@sms.ed.ac.uk with any questions, concerns, or requests.
