As the IRN-BRU Carnival prepares to celebrate its 100th birthday, organisers are searching for Carnival goers past and present to share their memories.

To mark its centenary, the Carnival will be holding a special exhibition as part of this year’s event featuring rare and historic Carnival images as well as traditional fairground memorabilia which were once a mainstay of the festive event.

Organisers are looking for input from the public to help tell the story of the Carnival over the past 100 years and would love to hear your best memories from the annual funfair.

Maybe you met your best friend at the Carnival? Do you have an exciting story about your first time on the Ferris Wheel? Have your family visited every Christmas Eve without fail? Whatever Carnival story you have to tell, the organisers want to hear about it.

Share your stories below. The best stories will then be picked to be part of a showreel and may feature as part of the exhibition. You will receive your points code after filling it in.

Your responses will be shared with the Irn-Bru Carnival team.

You can get a discount on tickets to the Irn- Bru Carnival with your Young Scot Card.
