Are you interested in science, technology, engineering or maths (STEM)? Do you want to discover, create, inspire and lead in STEM? Then why not sign up to take part in the Young STEM Leader (YSLP) Programme.
The YSL Programme gives you the opportunity to discover and learn more about STEM, develop new and valuable skills and inspire more young people to get involved with STEM.
You can complete the Young STEM Leader award within your school, community or youth group. Each young person will design, create and deliver a STEM activity, event or interaction to inspire your peers. Through doing this, you are encouraged to improve your own leadership skills and teamwork to become positive role models.
As a Young STEM Leader you will gain digital badges, certificates or a formal award by planning and delivering inspirational STEM activities, events and interactions in your schools, community or youth groups. The Programme is available at Curriculum for Excellence Second, Third and Fourth Levels and at SCQF Levels 4*, 5* and 6 (*Subject to completion of SCQF credit rating process). You'll earn Rewards points for every level you achieve.

About Young STEM Leader
The Young STEM Leader Programme (YSLP) is an exciting new award which aims to spark greater interest and participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) among young people in Scotland.
Young people have the chance to inspire, lead and mentor their peers through the creation and delivery of STEM activities and events within education establishments or local community groups.
The key aim of the YSLP is to facilitate the development of peer STEM role models to inspire more young people to develop an interest in STEM.
