The Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) is an active citizenship programme which empowers #generationchange to make a difference in their local communities while developing a host of skills. Each participating school, each year is responsible for directing a £3000 YPI grant to a local charity through a unique programme of teamwork, research and competition.
We've partnered with YPI to offer Members 2000 Rewards points for participating in the YPI programme. Additional points will be awarded to finalists who will also have access to exclusive rewards through the Young Scot Rewards platform.
The points codes will be sent to the YPI Lead Teacher following the school final.
If you've taken part in YPI programme in your school remember to ask a teacher lead for your Rewards points!
About Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI)
The Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) has empowered 175,000 young people to be active citizens since it was introduced in Scotland by The Wood Foundation in 2008. More than two-third of Scotland’s secondary schools take part in the programme, a unique combination of research, teamwork and competition, which has seen £4m granted to grassroots, social services charities championed by young people. YPI empowers #generationchange, providing a space and platform for youth voice, youth action and youth philanthropy.
