About Coast to Coast Surf School

Coast to Coast Surf School was formed in 2004 to give beginners in Scotland the best possible surf instruction on the most appropriate beaches for their ability.


Our staff team contains a wealth of experience, with our senior instructors all having between 15-22 years experience surfing the Scottish coastline. Our instructors also compete at a high level, making semi-finals and finals of national competitions.

We offer introductory lessons and skill builder lessons, courses and tours alongside daily beach hires from our Dunbar base. Local lessons take place at Belhaven, the closest consistently surfed beach to Edinburgh and Glasgow.
